After
a short flight to Hue, in central Viet Nam, our team toured through
a hospital in Dong Ha province, and further investigated
the work of East Meets West at a Peace Trees site and Kids First facility.
Peace Trees is a program that works to educated local Vietnamese about
the dangers of UXO (unexploded ordnance) left from the Viet Nam War,
and East Meets West works in conjunction with Rotary to finance and
manage humanitarian projects in Asia. We also had a tour of the
Citadel.
