of Viet Cong fighters and villagers could hide during the Viet Nam/American
War. Located 45 miles southeast
of HCMC, the complex is one of the most popular ‘war tourist
attractions’ in the country, and for good reason. It is incredible
to witness and experience the size and inventiveness of such a complex
that VC fighters employed during the war. Outfitted with boobytraps,
stray tunnels, and trapdoors, the team was agog at the motivation
and creativity that contributed to making such a network of tunnels
possible.
