The Trip

Our trip was an absolutely fabulous opportunity for us to explore new cultures, establish long lasting friendships with our fellow GSE Team members, and to explore not only technology as we generally think of it in the Silicon Valley, i.e. software and computers, but as it applies to Environmental Biology, Aquiculture & Fisheries, Medicine, Education, and tourism. 

The map below shows all the places we visited.  In just four short weeks we spent time in Bangkok and participated in the Rotary International South East Asia District Conferences, visited fisheries and mountain tribes in the Ha Noi region, as well as one of the great wonders of the world-Ha Long Bay.  We then moved south to Hue Da Nang, and Hoi An, and finally completed our trip further South in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong.  Click here for a detailed agenda.
