Polio Rehabilitation Private Sector (Bay Area) Committee
Polio Rehabilitation Private Sector (PREPS) is composed of a small group of Rotarians dedicated to the rehabilitation of polio sufferers, with emphasis on the Delhi area of India. More specifically their emphasis is raising funds in the greater Silicon Valley area to help support the building and maintenance of a polio rehabilitation center. District 5170 has already raised over $150,000.00 through a series of matching grants over the last few years. The plan is to seek financial support of the project from Silicon Valley firms with ties to India, or Indian firms and foundations operating here. PDG Raman Bhatia is the managing trustee.
