  • District Publications
    • District Directory Limited number provided to each club, usually by July. Lists clubs and their officers, District officers and committees, Governor's priorities for the year, District calendar and schedule, and the Policies and Guidelines for Administering Rotary District 5170.

  • Educational Meetings Held Annually
      Rotary International Convention (usually in May or June)
        An overview of Rotary with emphasis on the concluding Rotary Year and plans for the upcoming Rotary Year from an international perspective.
      Rotary District Assembly (usually in April or May)
        Training for incoming club officers and committee chairs in multiple concurrent sessions on various subjects. All Rotarians are welcome to attend.
      Rotary District Conference (usually in April or May)
        An overview of Rotary with emphasis on the concluding Rotary Year and plans for the upcoming Rotary Year from a District-wide perspective.
      Membership Seminar (normally at least one each year)
      Foundation Seminar (normally one each year, held in various months)
        The best local source of information on all aspects of The Rotary Foundation.
      Avenues of Service (normally in early Fall)
        A sharing of District programs and activities

LEADERSHIP 5170 - A series of Training Seminars offered to Rotary District 5170 Rotarians and Rotaractors. Current and potential Rotary leaders enhance their leadership skills and gain tools for becoming more effective leaders in their clubs, in the District, and beyond. Participants also advance their personal and professional development.
