2008 West Africa Rotary Project Fair And National Immunization Day Against Polio

The purpose of this trip is to eradicate polio, build strong friendships with the West African Rotarians and to attend a project fair to identify possible Rotary Foundation projects that can further Rotary’s goal of world understanding and peace.
The dates have been set for the West Africa Project to be held in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. Fair attendees will also participate in a regional polio eradication and field health intervention program that will put our Rotarians into villages, together with the local Rotarians, to administer the polio vaccine, distribute malaria nets and provide other critical health support.

Estimated Cost: $3,700, per person, includes: roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, overnight accommodations in Paris, France, West Africa Project Fair registration, selected meals, sightseeing, transfers, Rotary events, immunization activities, etc.
