For $75 you can give wheelchair mobility to someone who has been a shut-in or a crawler because they can't walk.

Philanthropist Ken Behring of Danville, CA started the Wheelchair Foundation that has the mission of providing a wheelchair to everyone in the world who needs one, but cannot afford it.

The Wheelchair Foundation can deliver wheelchairs for $150 each (in containers of 240) to any location in the world. The wheelchairs are very sturdy and are made to be used on rough terrain.

Rotarians are partnering with the Wheelchair Foundation in this effort. When Rotary pays half the cost, the Wheelchair Foundation will match it.

If you attend the Projects Fair in Costa Rica, you will be able to personally present a wheelchair to a needy person.
